We were not prepared

You hear those words coming from news casters all the time and then they state how many people died because of the cold frost that blew in to the region over night. No, for us, it just meant we couldn't show our children how to sled properly. We took them to a golf course that isn't quite finished in the area, but all we had with us was one big Tupperware container lid and one tube with a hole in it. This is what happens when you get snow in March in Virginia and are unprepared!

That tube went a little flat while he was trying sled. It sounded like mom was having fun though. We ended up not having our power go out yet but it'll suprise us and we'll have a wind storm sometime. It just wouldn't feel like winter came at all if we don't. Better luck next time!

cardboard boxes, cookie sheets, shovels, all make good temporary sleds. Where are the wyoming sleds? I think Rob was right you needed a bigger hill. That little boy was probably very tired after his day in the Virginia snow. Mom Keck
